i just setup a new fish tank, 75 gallong with an aqua clear 110... ive used the declorinater treatment on it, let my filter run on it for 2 days, added water from my established tank into it, shrimp to establish some waste, and a product with lots of beneficial bacteria in it to help cylce the tank.. Than i tested my ammonia its a 0 ppm. So i put my two feeder gold fish in it to see if they would be ok and they have been fine for 2 days now. Im not sure but i think the cycle could be completed, is this possible?

I really do not think so. Let it run for a week and then retest.

You're not finished cycling IMO. Sounds like the bioload is just low in relation to the size of the tank and what bacteria are present are handling it. Add fish slowly, and the bacteria should catch up with each addition relatively quickly.

Is there a "test" i can do prior to adding more fish just to ensure my tank is prepared?, btw which part of toronto are u from blinky... im in vaughan

Keep testing for ammonia, nitrites and nitrates.

If after 10-15 days your tank has no ammonia or nitrites, and nitrates are showing off, your tank is ready.

I am cycling a 75. I have bio media from an established tank suspended in the new tank.

I have danios from my old tank and a couple new ones.

I am testing daily.. so far the ammonia is at .25, no nitrites yet. nitrates at 20ppm

it will take some time for the new bio to get established.

hang in there.
