I went to Petsmart with my online prices in hand.
This is a new store so the staff isn't up to snuff yet.
One girl followed me around the tanks which was ok with me... I think she felt like she was learning. I told her I think your snails are dead. She said she thought so too but her manager said they're dead only if they float. I told her that if you pick one up and it doesn't move and or try to pull back inside... den dey dead. She promptly removed them. Good girl.
The cashier wasn't so good. I brought my Python extension and 2 thermometers to the front and told her while handing her the print outs "here are the on-line prices". She scanned my stuff and said $34.95. I said what? That can't be right. The online price for the hose is $11.69. Paging the manager. She plugs in the OL prices and $17.84 was my total.
It really did feel good to leave getting such a discount from the in store prices.
