Ok its freakin snowing out side and its only november 3rd. I live in connecticut and we ussually dont get our first snow till after thanksgiving sometime not till after christmas. This is kind of nuts. I know some of you in the ice boxes of the country got snow a while ago but its just to early here

Just how good are woolly worms at predicting weather? Woolly worms have 13 bands, each, potentially, of a different color. These correspond to the 13 weeks of winter, from December to March. The darker a band, the colder and snowier the weather. It is as simple as that. (ref: www.woollyworm.com)

You can't believe their worm, they are in NC. But I took this picture of a Northeast worm earlier this week:

I always think it's funny to see if they are right. :)

welcome to my world, FF! at least your day isn't already only 7 hours long...

Same story here FF. Don't know if your weather is as crazy as windsor's though, FWIW I was wearing a t-shirt outside on halloween day (and wasn't cold at all).

Ya DF where about the same as lower ontario just we get all the big coastal storms in the winter. I do like the winter season but its a bit to early for it lol. I had the door open all night on halloween cause it was 75 degrees lol New England has some crazy weather. Mark Twain has the famous quote "if you dont like the weather in New England just wait a minute".

Hi,

I live in B.C. Canada and it's been snowing all day! But it's suppose to go up to plus 4c and the snow will start melting again.

I live in WA and we didn't get our first frost until Monday. Normally it comes around the second week of October. However the Swallows left in early August, an entire month early! So that worries me a little. Luckily it almost never snows around here, because people are bad enough at driving in good weather. Check out the weather report. On TV they have "breezy" under every day. BEAUTIFUL!!!!
