jack dempsey growth rate?

The set up now is only momentary, I have 3 jd cichlids in a 10 gallon the biggest one being an 1.5" long. I was wondering what's a nornmal growth rate and how long do I have to get my 75 set up? I am feeding hikari cichlid staple.

I purchased one that was about 1" long when I got him 2 months ago. I haven't measured him lately, but he is probably about 3-4". He grew pretty fast, but i heard they slow down after the first few months before they reach full size.

Ok thanks that should give me around 3 months then based off of your growth rate. I love these new fish they are very active compared to my oscars.

I had a JD and I got him about 1 inch and he grew a good 1-1.5 inch a month all the way until he as around 5 inches, and it slowed down a bit.

My reg jds went from 1" to 3 to 5"(varies from fish to fish) in about 6months. My ebjd went from 3" to 4 1/2" in 8 months.
