I'm treating my black tetra for a ich problem and was wondering if Java fern and Hornwort will survive in it?

I did 1 tsp.
of salt per gallon I have a 55 gallon tank.

Both those plants are quite tolerant of salt and should be fine for a brief period - however are you using heat, also? That's what's most effective, raising the temp (slowly) to about 84 degrees. Hornwort starts falling apart when the water gets too warm

K.....thanks.

I have had my tank in the mid 80's for about a week now. The plants are not in yet. I just ordered them and will get them today or tomorrow.

Just was wondering if I could put them in or not. Maybe I'll wait a little bit more.
