Java fern getting killed from high light

so, I'm guessing I shouldn't use ultra hard water with high lights?

How much wattage and what are your GH/KH readings?

I have off the wall GH and KH (can't remember specific levels) but it is definitely up there. I also have 2 wpg, which is about medium lighting. I have never had a problem with my java ferns, in fact, since the switch to higher lighting, they are doing great!

umm welll lets see... my GH is about 180... my KH is 300+...
