I have a 36 gallon free standing patio pond that I would like to keep a pair of Florida flagfish in over the summer.

I have some java moss in a 10 gallon tank (in which the flagfish and some other fish currently reside).

Would the java moss grow in the pond if I put it in there over the summer?

Thanks

I tried putting Javamoss into my pond outdoors, it was too sunny. It turned white and died. But give a small sample a go anyway.

iv got it my pond and its doing well. I also have it in a large waterfilled pot outside.
For it to do well you need clear water and very little algae that can easily choke it. like lazynode said keep it out of the sun although mine gets some morning sun.
