I decided to make a java moss wall for the back of my 2g fluval spec. I couldn't find any mesh with decent sized holes in it. So, instead of the typical method I saw where you layer the mesh with some java moss in between and let it grow through, I sewed a bunch of java moss to the front of a single sheet of mesh. It looks a little flat right now, but hopefully after it attaches itself I'll be able to give it a trim and let it grow out.

very appealing. It's cozy and adds depth at the same time to my eyes

Nice! Insta-wall, no waiting!

Haha fairly instant. I've got a nice thick mat already but I'm gonna need to wait a bit before it gets that nice even look that java moss has when it grows attached to something.

I'll be sure to post an update once it attaches and grows in better.

I had one at one time, and it would get full of debris. Nice thing about them is you can take them out and rinse them off.

I made a moss carpet about 6 months ago. Now looking at how much you put on there, I think i had spread mine too thin. It has patches everywhere.
Yours looks great by the way!
