jewel cichlid

hi, i have a 55g cichlid tank with 7 jewels around 3" and a spotted catfish around 7" to do the cleaning. lol.
could anyone tell me if the stocking level is ok? can i add more? if so what other cichlids would be compatible. many thanks for any advice given

i'd say you're full and in fact, if/when your 'Jewels' start spawning, you may find that some of the subdominant males and females are naturally discarded by the spawning pairs.

thank you for your reply, will leave it as it is. As for spawning i am quite sure they are all males but i am certainly no expert, will just continue enjoying them as they are.
