Can those mates work? I have looked in a(10) huge oscar,and i just want to trie,the pikes are 9 inch.

however my guess would be that pike would eventually do the oscar in.How big is the oscar? If it's big enough and the tank is big (I'd say over 90 gallons) you miiiiight be ok, but it's a risk. Not much could happen to the pike in my opinion, but they have ridiculously strong jaws, and one bite to the head will take care of the oscar.
