from what i understand colts and kenya tree's are so hard to distinguish most LFS's just call all of them colt corals. but yeah that does look more like a kenya tree.
I agree yours looks more like a Kenya Tree compared to the one I put in my thread.. I think mine is a colt coral.. But it has only been a day for mine.
ITS BEEN A LITTLE OVER 2 WEEKS SINCE LAST WATER CHANGE. AMMONIA, NITRATE, NITRITE, AND PHOSPHATES ARE ALL STILL AT 0. PH AND CAL. ARE WITHIN RANGE AS WELL. MY QUESTION IS...ARE THERE ANY OTHER REASONS TO DO A REG. WATER CHANGE BESIDES WATER PARAMS? SHOULD I DO A PARTIAL WATER CHANGE EVEN THOUGH EVERYTHING IS READING WITHIN RANGE? ALSO, ON ANOTHER THREAD I READ THAT WET DRY FILTERS ARE BAD NEWS. I PLAN ON HAVING A WELL POPULATED REEF SO WOULD IT BE POSSIBLE WITH THE SET-UP I HAVE NOW OR AM I GOING TO HAVE TO BUILD A REFUGIUM?
i think it helps to do a wc anyway, because there are additional trace elements within the new water that have been used up by your system... i think a wc is just as much about minerals and trace elements as it is about water params..
