Jumping and Spitting Dwarf Gourami

Hello All,

Any of you with Dwarf Gourami's experience this before? Everytime I go to feed the fish it will come to the top and pratically leap out of the water multiple while swimming back and fourth.

Even better, he also will seem to be looking at me when at the top and will spit water into the air. He has even hit me a few times. haha.

Lol, they have been known to use that behaviour to knock bugs into the water. He's definitely hungry and has associated your presence with food. Cool fish!

That sounds cute...I almost got dwarf gouramis.

My Bosemani rainbowfish does that, too. Sometimes it sounds like he's hitting the top of the hood!
