there's some fungus covering the gravel/ornaments of my tank. it doesnt bother my shrimp, but it bothers me. i dont want to look at it anymore. and I'm worried it will sooner or later attack them.
I've gravel vacuumed it out, added salt to the water, and I've cut down on the food i feed (and every day i skip feeding i come home to find a shrimp being munched on by another. yay!) but it keeps coming back
so i went and bought Jungle Fungus Cure. It says it may stain ornaments and other things in the tank. I'm not worried about the ornaments, but will this stuff stain the glass?

I doubt it will stain the glass. Ive just never had any luck with any type of algae remover it sounds like you might have brown algea or hair algae... I have had outbreaks of this and the only thing i can do is scrub it off when i do my water change and gravel vac.. Ive heard that it will go away in time and with a well established tank.. Im definatly going to get a magnet algae cleaner though there neat... Let us know if this product works though ... :D

If it's the same meds I've got, Jungle Fungus Cure is for treating sick fish with fungus diseases, not for treating a fuzzy tank. You'll may be medicating healthy fish, and harming or killing them in the process. I wouldn't do it, and I would wait for someone to help identify what's in your tank.
