I have had an angelfish for about 6 months. I was vaccuuming the tank, when
I noticed that he has red eyes. They weren't like this before today. I take good care of my tanks and fish, so I would've noticed. I'm just wondering if this is normal, or if it's a disease or sickness that I need to take care of. Thanks!

I forgot to say he's either white and black, or gold and black. I guess it depends on what light he's in. I just got a little worried because he didn't have it before. Thanks.

My angelfish have developed red eyes. What is it and how do I treat it?

This is most likely due to a bacterial infection of some sort. Eye infections such as this are most often caused by handling with coarse nets or by poor water conditions. Start by doing a partial water change, then treat with any type of broad-spectrum antibiotic.

Now allot of Angels do have red eyes or a patch of red, but if they just developed this you might want to watch it close.
