Just experienced my first Earthquake

There was an after quake around 8pm.
It was my 2nd, but this time I was half done releasing some new fish and I ran around checking all the tanks. Only my ducks seemed to know it was coming before it happened. They were being loud and oddly interested in where I was.
It was scary but oh so cool!

My first too. I live in Northern NJ, about as far north as you can get, and we felt it here. I have family near Saratoga NY and they felt it too. My entire house was shaking and swaying. Tank was rattling. It was really freaky.
Strangly enough, my 80+ year old house only trembled, and I was closer to the epicenter then GuppyMan was. Guess they just built better back then? I never felt another earthquake (happy about that) but when the initial one hit I felt queasy for a few minutes beforehand, creepy as can be...
Barely noticed it. I thought a big helicopter or something flew over the building until a coworker came in and asked if any of us felt the 5.8 quake. Then my girl started texting me and freaking out about planet X.
I laughed out loud.
Seriously though, the last east coast quake I felt was about 10 yrs ago and that one was only about a 4.2

We had an earthquake? We had after shocks? Wonder where I was during all 75 seconds of it? I've knocked over kids with just a fart or a belch that was more exciting!
