Just got my first live plants!

Plecos wont touch a Marimo moss ball. Ive got several in some of my tanks. My Amano, and Cherry red shrimps on the other hand love them. They always spend time grooming them as well as shrimp fry can hide in it.

They actually do have some added benefits to have them in the aquarium vs other plants. They are heavy feeders on Nitrates and Phosphates. So they tend to suck those 2 items up. But just as these do that there are other plants that are heavy nutrient reliant. They have a different look and add some nice balance to help keep Nitrates and phosphates down if need be.
