just got new tank

i just got a new tank it is 10 gallons and i was wondering what type of s. american fish and plants can or should i put in it

3 cory cats and 5 neons will fit nicely if not push the limits of your tank.

I plan to do something similar with one of my tanks.

Fill it up with a bunch of tetras(neons, glowlights, silvertips, etc), driftwood and maybe some pygmy chain swords. A school of about 8-10 fish would do fine in a 10g planted tank with good maintenance. I had a 10g planted tank with a school of 8 glowlight tetras, snails, and amano shrimp. Great looking little tank. I had cardamine lyrata, young melon swords and crypts in mine with a flourite substrate, 3wpg lighting and DIY CO2 injection. I used an AC 200 to filter the tank and did weekly 50%+ water changes.
