Juvenile Red Cherry Shrimps

Hi, I was wondering how long will it take juvenile red cherry shrimps to grow to adult size? They are about a quarter inch big now. I just purchased them and realized they are too small to introduced into my community tank. I am afraid my Blue rams might eat them or being sucked up by the filter.
So i have them in a fish bowl for now. Can they survive in a fish bowl without filtration?

From my understanding, Cherries need clean water to do well. I would suggest at least putting a small sponge filter in.

they need clean water, definitely. i only use a small sponge filter in a heavily planted tank for my cherry shrimp, and i just had a successful hatching with 16 new baby shrimp in my tank. i only noticed them cause i did a tank transfer and had to catch each individual baby shrimp. i think some might've gotten siphoned out but o well.

Yep, definately go with a filter. RCS (Red Cherry shrimp) mature fairly quickly. It just takes them a few months to reach sexual maturity. It varies a bit, from tank to tank, because of water quality.

To get the most out of them, I'd get a 10g tank. You can then enjoy watching them reproduce like bunnies and develop a large colony of red critters!
