I just purchased a kent 4 stage Maxxima ro/di unit. I ran the initial breakin quantity of water and then set it up for my first batch of usable water. I get "product" water at a high rate. I can fill a 5 gallon bucket in about 20 minutes. There is much less waste water. I thought the reverse was the norm. I can't see how it is set up incorrectly as the units are set up when sent. Any comments. I hate to use the water and then find out I am using waste water. Thanks for any input.

I have the 60 gpd Hi S Maxxima unit and no way can I fill up a 5 gallon bucket in 20 minutes- more like 2 hours.
Have you tested the resulting water? pH should be 7.0, but a TDS meter would be much more helpful.

I have been advised to check the seating of the membrane and the restrictor, which I will do. Thanks for your reply. Common sense told me it was wrong, but how to correct was my problem.
