Kid with anger management issues...

My dad use to tell me that when he was young, if someone misbehaved either at school or home, their parents or teachers would make children go on their knees on corn seeds.

If you do that today, you'd be charged with children torturing or something, yet, see the results.

In fact, that kid deserves to be punished, locked in his room withour electric power nor batteries for at least a week.

I think if his momma slapped the taste out of his mouth, he'd straighten up and fly right. ;)

Slappy, your name makes you the perfect candidate to administer said slapping.

v/r, N-A

P.S. Your new avatar is as disturbing as the previous one.

When younger, and had some "discipline", my Dad called them "prayer meetings" and they had nothing to do with "prayers" -- well, not literally. The aftermath 'hurt'. Kids didn't have 'adult rights' back then, kids were kids, they couldn't sue...

Not that I speak German or anything, but the first thought I had when I saw that kid going crazy like that at his computer was probably that he was playing/trying to play a video game.

C'mon it can be harsh sometimes how your just wont coorperate with you.

Let's put ourselves on the kid's shoes.

He goes to the store with the intentions of buying a PC game, I don't know maybe it's his birthday, or it's just a game that he had been saving money to buy for the longest time, he inspects the video game case and in the back he sees that it is compatible with the computer system he has.

So he buysthe game, stuffs it in his backpack, goes outside jumps on his bike and flies home. When he gets home all excited, he runs up the stairs skipping every 2 steps. He turns his computer on, at the same time rips the game out of it's box and pops it in the CD-R floppy. Now it's when the problems starts....

No matter how much he tries to start the CD-R, all he gets is error messages. So he keeps trying...trying...trying, after all it is in his youthful nature not to give up easily.

How would you react on this situation? Remember it's your favorite game, and it does not want to work.

...relieve some tension I bet.

All for now, see you later...

LoL, I can promise you I wouldn't be acting like that.

"What did the five fingers say to the face?

...SLAP!!!!!"

LOL JOe, sure it was a "prayer" meeting.....weren't you "praying" that he would stop ? :D
Discipline should be hard hitting, and fast, with no time for opinions. Rules are rules. Parents are the boss (or used to be..)

----

There is a well defined line between discipline and abuse and it doesn't take much common sense to know better.

Emg, this is not directed to you.

I had to say that to elaborate on "current events" ....
