Can anyone tell me what Krib eggs look like? We found a mass of what looks like eggs surrounded in a cottony like substance under one of the lava rocks. Could these be eggs? My husband thinks it's some kind of mold or something?

Sounds more like it is fungus. Krib eggs are not surrouned by any gelatine like mass but are laid freely almost always in caves. They are usually white to orange in coloration. Eggs that go bad are usually eaten. What other fish are in the tank? What size tank? How often do you do a water change?
