Kribensis Tank

im redoing my tank (29g) for my 2 kribs (M/F)...
thinking about a lightly planted (possibly plastic not sure yet) with many rock formations with play sand
what will be a good additioni to this tank that wil lcompliment them?

so far this is what i want(not sure if its a good idea please tell me)
-female krib
-neon tetras (if good idea please recomend a number of them)
-sturisoma whiptail catfish
-anything else

oh and i have 2 otos

Kribs are cichlids, Moving to cichlid forum..

to your krib question...they Are usually peaceful with most species...usually. I had some nasty experiences with them.. other then that they are a nice lookin fish and I hope the work for you.

I wouldn't add another female krib. In general, kribs are not harem forming and the female would likely kill the other one if they spawn.

Otherwise, get 6 neons and I'd skip the whiptails...cool fish, but you already have two otos and you don't want to overwhelm the tanks bioload.
