OK....my male and female kribs are acting up. all of a sudden there "tummies" lol i couldnt resist r turing right redish pink. and when the male comes around the females turns her tail so she is in a "weak" U if u will. and then they brush up against eachother then swim off. is this normal?

that's breeding for ya, after this stage the female will go really pale and the male will constaintly chase her and then she'll hid, and then they'll lay eggs.

6 to 10 days maybe. dont be too upset if they wind up eating them. with my kribs, the first clutch they laid had hatched and been free swimming for about a week and they ate them. good luck.

jiggerpolebill..OMG..I had the exact same hting happen to me!!!

conversballer..no..dont isolate them..the parents will guard th efry..and they will learn a lot about gurading with the first batch..they may/may not eat the fry..so just be patient.
