well it seems like my kribs are ready to spawn again, but I think something is delayin the process. It is because there are still old fry in the tank? I've also been having filter problems so i've been changing filters and plant arangements around.

I'm thinking that because I've changed somthing they haven't spawned or deemed it a good time. I think there is only 1 survivor fry from the previous batch. I think its a he because its quite long..only 1cm thought, hope he makes it. anyway what are your thoughts, because of continual interuptments?

shes had he red/pink belly for a week now and still nothing, just hightened agression.

oh man this gal is about to lay. She is dark dark dark dark dark! I mean shes turning purple! hopefully I won't have to wait long, saw 3 fry out this morning so 2 more survivors I guess. i will be getting/replacing my impellar soon so It will once again interupt things for a short while.

ok I seem to be talking to myself, but boom! talk about heightend aggression, I think my male krib killed my bristlenose....casualty of breeding, at first I thought It was my Agassizi's which is the most $$ fish in there and was about to cry, still I shed a tear for the bristlenose.

Kribs and Co.

Sorry about your bristlenose! I saw some NICE kribs at the lfs last weekend, and wondered about putting them in my 20-gal tank. They'd like my water, but I'm not sure they'd get along all that well with the cory trio who inhabit the substrate. Gorgeous fish, though! Good luck with your current and future fry.

thanks, but my most recent batch has been eaten by either the father of mother...shame. I think I will try a better structure for the nest.

I only have 1 survivor from there very first batch...and hopefully the little tacker makes it.

I don't think they would be hostile to cory's. just fin nipping as such. If they are large enough (the cory's) they should do ok. I'm about to move my bristlenose into my 35gal, and my cory's in the 35gal into the 20gal.
