Can small kuhli loaches be with African Dwarf Frogs? I'm worried that a frog will think the loach is a tasty worm and try to eat it, or are they fast enough to avoid being eaten. The ones at the LFS are about 2 inches long and about 5-7mm wide. When the loaches are adults, will there be a risk of being eaten?

My first concern would be feeding the ADFs. ADFs are generally slow eaters, and easily harrassed. Thus they may starve if they have to compete with more agressive eaters (like loaches, cories, etc)

ADFs are fun though, just a bit slow n delicate. They're great in smaller, quiet peaceful tanks.

I already have ADFs and they are very healthy because I hand feed them a pinch of live bloodworms every 2-3 days. (Look at my signature first)

Now what about the kuhli loaches?

Kuhlis will be fine. ADF's have very poor eyesight and are not as adept as the ACF's at hunting their prey, and kuhlis can escape at the first attempt provided your tank is heavily-decorated.

Oh, right! I forgot ADFs had suckish eyesight. The tank (30G in Signature but for now the 10 gallon) has many spaces to hide in and many broken terra cotta pots to provide shelter and hides. Im thinking about getting 2 now and 2 more when I get the 30 gallon tank.

Get 4 to start with, David. Loaches will not appreciate being kept lesser than that. Besides, you plan to move them anyway to a 30g.
