I just gone one the other day. He was in the tank not ten minutes, dug under a rock and i haven't seen him since. no idea why I got that bugger, so far he hasn't impressed me. But with that said, no plants have been knocked over either.

six or more kuhlis = lots of kuhli activity and joy.
Most loaches are very social and need to be in groups to exhibit natural behavior, including having the bravery to come out and be seen. Kuhlis are most certainly this type of fish. They take a little time to get used to their surroundings too.
The more of them you have, and the more hiding places you have, the more you see them, ironically. It makes them comfortable with their surroundings.
