Ive had a L200 for about 3 weeks. Hes looking a little skinny
I have plenty of driftwood and thruogh in spilrunia disc in ever night
Hes about 6" and looks fine-other than his stomach, and the only algea eater in a 75g. He has plenty of current and the temp is about 81
I had to clean the glass today-starting to get worried
?zuchini?
thanks Scott

oh... did I forget to mention how jealous I am... they are a beautiful pleco!

You can also try a little shrimp pellet with the veggie. If you need to stimulate his appetite, try soaking veg, wafer, and pellets in garlic juice. This attracts fish and helps to treat internal parasites.

try frozen bloodworm, brine or mysis shrimp, to fatten him up. Ideally, use live blackworms if you can find them. You'll take forever to fatten him on zuccini. Leave zuccini in there, too, however, so he has a choice and learns that zuccini is food. Mine took about two weeks to figure it out. Now he eats an entire slice per day.

L200's are fairly easy to care for. If he continues to not eat, he may have an internal worm. In that case, dose the tank with prazipro every few days to kill adult worms and then newly hatched babies.

no, it's perfectly harmless. won't kill snails, either. I checked.

Just make sure you have good circulation because prazi-ed water holds less oxygen. not significantly less, but noticable.
