I believe they are actually mystery snails, but I want to make sure I am clear on what I am looking for. I have always known them as apple snails.

If anyone has any to sell. please pm me prices. Including shipping to 30516. I'd like several depending on price.

Thanks.

Shipping is much harder on adults than juvies. I have juvies available.

How big, how much, and how long do they take to grow out? Do they grow pretty fast? I would like to put them directly in my 220g with my bigger fish. I could grow them out in my 75 though.
PM me prices if you don't want to post them here. i am interested.

I recently bought to grown gold apple snails and one was DOA and the other died a month later. I wouldn't suggest buying grown ones. My young ones are all doing great and growing fast.

What is the stock in the tank Alan? I am worried because you said big fish, lol. Typically the apple snails grow pretty darn quickly. Most of the ones I have avaible now are dime sized. They are purple, magenta, and chestnut (burgundy) striped. I sell them for $3 a piece. Shipping for up to 6 is $4.80, over 6 is flat rate of $9.80. I individually bag them for shell preservation and each snail is shipped with a small piece of plant to cling to. If the bigger fish are cichlids, I probably wouldn't recommend adding apple snails. Right now I am recovering from a complicated knee surgery, I should be able to ship again in about 2 weeks. I think you could expect the apple snails to reach golf ball size within about a month of receipt, but it really depends on temp (higher temp, faster growth but faster metabolism and consequently shorter lifespan).

Thanks. Let me know in a few weeks when you can ship. I may get a few.

As far as cichlids, I have Jags and Oscars in the 220. Would they not be ok in there? If not I'd still like some for other tanks, just not as many.

I don't think they would fare very well with jags and oscars. I think they would probably be killed pretty quickly. I should be able to ship again in about 2 weeks. :)

Ok thanks. i was thinking that since they were too big for the fish to get in their mouths and hard shelled they'd be ok. I'll take you advice. You obviously know your stuff. i won't put any in that tank.
