Large peaceful fish?

Lots of plecos fit that description. Some of the bigger ones can be aggressive to other plecos or other bottom dwellers, but they won't eat fish that are alive.

The medium-sized gouramis(like the pearl and blue gouramis) get up to 6" and will only eat very small fish.

There are far too many to list! One problem is that many people equate predation with aggression. Almost any fish will swallow another fish if it can. Many of the species commonly considered aggressive, such as the so- called FW Barracuda of the genus Acestorynchus will ignore anything they can't swallow whole. They're actually rather shy.

flagtail prochilodus, they are peaceful and are AWESOME

I've never seen my Jurupari get agressive, not sure if all eartheaters are that way though. Gouramis, bala sharks, plecos, ect.

I agree with the flagtail. Has a very interesting personality as well!! Roseline sharks or dennison barbs are also very pretty and look awesome in a planted tank.
