I'm looking for some fish for my 80 gallon and want some large peaceful fish to go with my 4 silver dollars, looking for fish 6-10 inches, maybe a large catfish or something like that.

Denison barbs. Moonlight gouramies might be on the smaller end but they're lovely.

The problem with cats is there aren't many that stay in the 'medium' range--most are either 3-6 inches, or get to be a foot or more. Pictus cats, in a large groups, might suit, though they max at around 4-5. Some of the bumblebee catfish might work--I think the 'false asian bumblebee' hits 6 inches and does well in a group.

Spotted Raphaels max out around 6" ,same with the Asian Bumblebees Striped Raphaels tend to stop arounf 8-9" for very old individuals, Pictus is a great choice, some of the smaller Synodontis species would work, Hoplo cats rarely top 6" but can reach 8" in some instances. Madtoms are also another option just make sure they are not protected in your area and follow proper quarantine procedures.

Severums are typically peaceful and grow 8-10" and on the smaller side Angelfish would work well, as well as the Aquidens species, most Andinoacara species (except rivulatus in a lot of cases), Bujurquina,..... Discus if you have the right water chemistry, and a school or even just 1 or 2 of Geophagus (warmer) or Gymnogeophagus (if u keep cooler temperatures)also.

Would discus go with silver dollars as discus dont like fast moving fish, sevrums are probably the best option and i might go for a school of pictus, thanks for the info
