larvea or worms???

i just noticed dozens of little creepies on the underside of my hood. they're about 1cm long, barely thicker than a human hair, and white/clear. they wiggle around, look a lot like miniature worms, and die if they're left out of moisture. i've added no new fish recently, and am feeding freeze dried bloodworms and brine shrimp. there are and always have been snails in my tank (my bluegill likes to eat them)
these are all of the factors i could think of that may help someone with more knowledge than I in determining what these things are. i tried taking a picture but they're just too small.

anybody had something like these before, and what are they?

the violet goby needs brackish water. the bluegill isn't brackish... I think theyre maggots feeding off of something.

the violet goby is FOUND mainly in brackish water, but can actually aclimate to fresh or saltwater if done slowly. i always try to research fish before buying and made sure he would be able to live in my tank. i've had him longer than the bluegill, actually.

and after further study, the pests appear to be flatworms, probably from overfeeding (something i'm guilty of because the goby's biggest problem in general is undernourishment, due to their limited vision)

is it planaria? i think those stay in the water though.

i THINKthey're planaria, but my micrscope sucks so i can't be sure just yet. still no visible parasites or ailments with any of my fish so...
i'm trying to starve them out, and adding 1ppm salt per day in attemt to dehydrate them. if this doesn't work i guess i'll have to try a medication.
