Laser Cory Catfish

I just obtained 6 F1 orange laser cory catfish from a highly rated breeder. The fish exhibit a faint orange striping (their 1.25"). Will the color intensify with age, diet and adjustment to the new tank? Is there anything that I can do to make the color more pronounced? Please advise on how to speed the growth of cories in general (diet, WC changes etc.)

I acquired some juvenile gold lasers about three months ago, and as they've grown the laser stripe has gotten bolder. That's about all I can offer.
