i got home last night to find that the cloth on my desk that the tank is sitting on was a little wet, no fish have jumped out, the filter wasn't leaking, and the tank didn't even look wet. the only place i saw water was along the bottom seam of the tank, and i dried that up only to see that more was coming out, but at a very slow rate. i took all the fish out of the tank and i wrapped a towel around the bottom of the tank so i could deal with it in the moring (it was 2:30 am :p) but then when i woke up everything was dry again, i moved the gravel around in the back to see if it was just some gravel that had covered up where it had been leaking....but still nothing.

has this ever happened to anybody? i can't figure out what happened, or any other reason the cloth was wet if it wasn't the tank leaking....

thanks for reading, and if you have ANY idea what happened i'd like to know, the fish are all back in the tank because it's not leaking anymore, but is it safe?

i wouldn't be to quick to say it's condensation, there was just too much of it, and the sides of the tank were dry, it was only along the botom seam i saw water, plus my tank isn't all that much warmer than the rest of my room. but you're right, it was QUITE a hassel indeed

IME,definitely a leak,find the source,remove all fish and water,patch it with silicon,if it was a leak,i could be wrong.

That reminds me of a little Eclips 3 tank I used to have. It was fine for a while until one day when I saw the bottem of my dresser was wet. Yet, I couldn't find where it was happening from. Then, I took the lid off and saw hat there were tons of bubbles comming up the corner of the tank, and a few drops of water were going over the side. This also might be happening to you.
