whats everyone's thoughts about they're favorite night time lighting. im looking to add some more nightime light's. my power compact doesnt emmit the look i want. thanx!:headbang2:

for night time the best thing I found to do is get some blue cold cathode tubes and put them in the fixture they give a nice even blue night glow.

I have a Marina submersible blue LED. I actually need two for more light.

You can adjust it to point where you want. My plants get in the way a little though.

I agree with nh5, which is probably the cheapest for around 3 bucks per cold cathode tube, just check on newegg, they're running pretty cheap just need to take the mini molex connector off and wire it with a few resistors (which are sold for pennies at ratshack) under the existing light strip.

i bought some red cold cathode lights from ebay for $8 shipped and used a old 12volt 2.8 amp ac-dc power converter that i had laying around.

puts out the perfect amount of light

cheap way for night-time lighting is to get a few blue LED night lights at wally world, dismantle them and or make some cuts, wire into a cord and your done. I plan on doing this once I get some money.

I thought this might be a good idea so when I was at Wallyworld today I picked up an led night light and right then is when I should have thought "Night Light" = low low light.
I went through all the trouble of hacking the thing up and wiring it to a cord before I realized just how little light comes out.
Dang!
I knew I should have bought the 50 LED X-mas light set in blue from K-Mart for $10 but I was too scrooged.
