Anyone know where a good DIY guide is for re-wiring an 8 foot t12 single bulb ballast into a 36 inch fixture? (posting this in reefing too, if a mod knows a better place to stick it, feel free)

I would got to some of the sites that sell retrofits for that paticalur bulb. They may be nice and have instructions they can send you.
I don't understand how 8' will fit into a 3' fixture. Could you explain better. The ballast will have a sticker on it that tells what wattage and diameter of the bulbs it will run. The wiring diagram is on each ballast too.
