Lion's paw Scallop

Purple Nudibranchs is another "scallop" type of thing.. they look so neat that people must buy them, then realize when they get home there is no food you can buy to feed them. I have never known of a purple nudibranch to live in an aquarium for more than 3 months.
 
well, thank you. I will continue to spot feed store bought phyto on the daily.
I work in the seafood industry, the scallop was on a diver's boat, and he gave it to me. There used to be a thriving commercial scallop industry here in port canaveral (before cruise ship dredging) and they were harvested for by the millions for eating, so one in the fishtank is no big deal, I'll eat 10 of those suckers for lunch. I might even eat the one in my tank before it dies, now that i see they might not be compatible in my clean tank.
