Quick question: I've got two platy babies in my 36g and 3 weeeee platy babies in my 2.5g. I'd say the babies are about a month older and twice the size of the weeeeee ones.

Is it safe to put them all together in one tank considering the age and size difference?

Also, are they big enough now that mom and dad won't eat them?

I'm about to rip that puppy up and transfer most of it over to my 75g and I don't want the little guys in there. Dad is in there too, and if I can move him in with the babies for a bit it will make it easier.

Thanks!

Roan

i'm not sure if the other platies would eat them but i've found that if you provide lots of plants (dense ones work the best)and hiding places, weeeeee platies can USUALY avoid being eaten.
I hope that helps.
