Any ideas on good live food for hatchets?
Somthing that will float, yet not fly away?
I recently put a small live spider I found in my house in there and they went nuts.
The live fruit flies that Petco sells as 'flightless', all have wings and are clearly buzzing around in that disgusting tube filled with bluish goo.
I can picture opening the tube and having fruit flies everywhere.
On the topic of live food, what about for the Cardinals? They don't eat off the surface since all the hatchets swim in the upper part of the tank, so something live that would swim around for them to chase?
thanks!
29G planted/wood/slate
5 Giant Silver Hatchetfish (Thoracocharax stellatus)
3 Marbled Hatchetfish (Carnegiella strigata strigata)
7 Cardinal Tetras
1 Zebra Oto
3G planted/wood
2 Ghost shrimp
1 Singapore shrimp
