This is as good as it gets.
If you just want to grow corraline algae (the purple, pink, orange etcc..) color on the rock. It will grow under normal output flourescents over a few months. (provide high calcium about 400-450 mg/l and some trace elements to encourage it) When you want to keep corals increase lighting according to the kinds of corals you want. (I asked this question in another forum
