I was walking through a local chain petstore and noticed a tank of "African Dwarf Frogs" that had clearly been mislabeled. They were fat and already much bigger than any dwarf frog I have ever seen. I thought they were probably African Clawed frogs, but when I checked to see if their front appendages were clawed or webbed, I was suprised to see webbing there, very clearly.

African dwarf frogs do have webbing on their front legs, but african clawed frogs (so much larger and more dangerous to fish communities, full grown they are five inches longer than dwarf frogs) have never had webbing there.

Any ideas? I was thinking a possible hybrid.
