London Bombings

In '91, I was leaving London for the Kent countryside by train when an IRA bomb exploded on the platform I had left from, not 10 minutes before. Bad news. This isn't much better.

I'm from ipswich which is about 60 miles from london, i have 4 close family members who all comute to london and use the bombed stations, thankfully they are all on holiday together in portugal so are safe and sound

my thoughts are with those who have not had such a lucky escape

:(

I feel terrible that this had to happen to anyone. What a cowardly and deplorable act to attack civilian commuters at Underground stations and on a bus. My heart and prayers go out to all of the UK and especially those directly affected by this barbaric and spineless act.

I agree!

Cowardly and sick...

Let's see who wants to accept the blame..

That might come out first on the Aljazeera website, but I don't go there. Wonder how that site is "reporting" it. No bias there... (sarcasm..)

the huge problem is that these terrorists don't think they're doing anything wrong. on the contrary, they think what they are doing is a calling from their god.

That being said, they could easily give their lives away for this cause, so they always have the upper hand....

it's truly really sad. ..

this sux.... my heart goes out there to those who have suffered because of these "terrorists"...

Thank you. All is remarkably normal here (stiff upper lip as we tend to be) but with mobile phone networks down many of us are still worried about friends.
Mostly we're just hoping it's finished.

To anyone else from my neck of the woods - hope all is well with you (and that you can get home tonight)
