Hi there,
And first and foremost...HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!
Now down to business...One of the longfin zebra danios I bred a year and a half ago has a pretty decent sized hole in its side
absolutely refuses to eat and is slightly discoloured (paler than usual)
I have no idea how this happened to be honest
I've been gone for 2 days and I came home to this
Tank mates are 1 Longfin Leopard danio (male) and 4x Longfin Zebra Danios
Take is 10g
Would another Zebra be able to take a chunk that size out of a tank mate? I heard they were fin nippers but were incapable of doing damage like that
As far as other injury I see nothing else...but this hole is pretty decent size and I can actually see Red flesh at the centre of the hole
I've added some Melafix for the time being ... she honestly doesn't look like she has much time left tbh
Any Ideas? I have melafix and Kanaplex on hand...I would like to treat her if possible (I know it's a $1 fish...but that was my first successful danio spawn and had 2 / 20 survive...so I'm kind of attached)
Thanks in advance,
Taylor
