Looks like a rili. Cherry shrimp = Neocaridina davidi and there are bunches of different color morphs that have been line bred. Rili is one (red rili, specifically). If you bought from someone who had mixed the lines, the offspring will be a mixed bag, and future offspring will trend towards the 'wild' type, which is a solid brownish animal.
Check here for a few ot the N. davidi color forms. Think of them like dogs--Great Dane or beagle, still a dog, even though they look very different because of human intervention.
