Looking for 55g in CT

I've been lurking on craiglist and CT backpage for a 55g for a while. Is it just me, or does it appear that everyone is over valuing their 55g's? Craigslist has had 55g's w/ stands, and people asking $300-400. I find that obsurd when I can go to Petsmart or Petco and get a brand new tank, hoods and stand for $260.
Anyhow, my search continues....
