Does anyone know where I can get a custom tank made on long island? I got a quote from glasscages.com,but shipping is way too much and there is no way that I can get to white plains to pick it up from the truck.

I contacted aquarium village in westbury. Was told they were going to give me a quote tomorrow after reviewing my quote from glasscages.

Most of the private shops in Manhattan and Brooklyn offer custom tanks... but the real question is whether you need custom, or an odd size. What size do you need?

There is a place in Brooklyn that specializes in large custom tanks. I've never bought one from them or anything, but I have looked in their showroom, it's ok. http://www.1000islandaquarium.com/

Im looking for a 30" x 20" x 20" reef ready, or possibly a 30" x 18" x 22" reef ready.Aquarium village has not gotten back to me even after 3 emails and a phone call.I hate being lied to and ignored. It is really the size im looking for.I like the length of my 29 gal but I would like a greater depth.36" long is too long for what I need so that eliminates a 40 breeder. And I would like 20-22" in height because my wife wants a jawfish and I want atleast 16" in water depth.

Probably 1000 Island is better bet as they may have been custom building more so than Pacific, if Pacific does at all.
