In my 75 gallon I plan to have 1-3 angels, 8 congos and 12-16 rummynose tetras, plus otoclinus and cory cats.

Right now I have the congos and 7 corys.

I have this great little stone cottage built out of lace rock. It would be a great loach playplace, but I was advised against keeping loaches with angels, so I got the corys. But they haven't set 'foot' in it. Are they likely to start hanging out there? What would you recommend that would be compatable with my plans and won't stress the bioload that would like to hang out in my rock house?

thanks,

Ellen

I would reccomend a rainbow shark they love caves but, they can be nasty to any other fish that tries to enter its cave,

[joke] just wondering.. has anyone ever told you not to throw glasses in a rock house? :) sorry.. had to go there. back to normal thread operations. :p: [/joke]

heh heh JRR like it :)

Perhaps a bristlenose plec or 2 ?

I don't have any experience with your fish however.

But great call on the congos - stunners !

groan. so I'd better not get any rambunctious glass fish.

Coler, cool set up. Those rocks are to mine what the Taj Mahal is to a trailer park.

I think an iridescent shark would be too much for my community. I was wondering about Kribs, or what about a ram or two-do they like caves?

Ellen

my rams (pair) spend a lot of time in their cave

thanks euglossa

I never kept kribs or rams...popular fish though and territorial little couples so yeah they might very well take up residence...particularly kribs ?

yo kribs in da crib

You got a pic of this?

I haven't got a picture yet, no camera. One day I'll get or borrow one and take a picture.
