Looking for menu idea's

The most popular thing in the cafe in our library, is the Expresso machine. 2nd would be the coffee urns.

The ideal food is something that will sate a 19 year old woman, and yet satisfy a 19 year old male.
Are there any/many shops selling middle eastern food?

I would suggest trying home made rice crispies threats, with and without chocolate on top, and home made peanut butter with chocolate on top.
That's ESPRESSO ;)
To me nothing beats a nice broccoli soup, creamed or plain either is fine...just NO chunks.

how about something like a 'surf n turf' soup?? you could use a wonton stock for the base and have bits of fish and beef in there, along with small diced carrots, celery, potato? guess it'd be more like a surf n turf stew........ lol. but i bet it would be good!

and tandoori chicken..... oooooh...... you must add tandoori to the menu somewhere! because if i'm ever in your neck of the woods i know i'll want to find me some good tandoori!

I thought I would put up the menu for yall to see what I presently am doing.

Salads- Spinach, Caesar, Chefs, Pasta, Bean
Wraps- Egg Salad, Hummus, Veggie, Buffalo Chicken, Chicken Caesar, Smoked Seafood, Wild Salmon, Shrimp Creole, Smoking Gun(hot italian deli)
Soups- done fresh daily changed daily
Specials- changed on a daily basis

fruit salad, antipasto, tuna salad

home prepped lunch meats would allow a little more variety with the wraps without adding the glues and sodium of packaged lunch meats. roast beef, chicken, turkey and ham are easy enough.
a few whole grain bread/roll options would allow that to be expanded to sandwiches and hoagies as well... also provide for healthy(er) soup croutons and bread sides.

parfait/smoothies/sorbet/sherbert are possible options for sides/desserts (fill that ice cream itch for those who have a need to cheat/for sweets)

can't think of any thing in perticular but when i was trying to loose weight, i made my sandwich's with garlic hummus instead of mayo or mustard for at taste treat, to add to the flavor of healthier menus, and boost health also,..

i suggest food of the edible and tasty variety......

I love broccoli cheddar soup. It's amazing. But you should serve it with French bread, as it is great for dipping.
