looking for neon or cardinal tetras cheap.

I am looking for Neon tetras but would also consider cardinals. My LFS sells both of these for 3 for $7. When you want a bunch that gets rather pricey. Currently I only have 6 neons. That is OK but I want a WOW tank. 6 really doesn't cut it for me. Boy have times changed. When I started keeping fish approx. 15 years ago I could get 6 for a dollar.

Anyone know of someone with some? I would also consider buying from a internet company as long as the shipping doesn't kill me.

don't think you can get deals like taht anymore.. my lfs i can get cardinals for 2 a piece and neons for a dollar each cause im cool with the owner probablt even cheaper for a batch order or neons but shipping from ny to il would probably kill you anyway lol so good luck

Check your local petco. I think at the moment they have 5 for 5 deals. Best time to get 20+ neons and have 15 atleast survive lol

thats a supplier and you have to buy 50 of them. truth is i have wholesaler lists that show cardinals at the 87 cents mark too. gas costs have driven up shipping and transport charges so it is normal to see them for that price. if you can get them for under a dollar fifty i would go for it and avoid the shipping(if you find a good online deal).
