This must be a typo. I think I would travel and check if its not LOL. How many lfs you have thats closer lol.

I would order them

If you have a planted tank, I personally would recommend mail-ordering some Malaysian Trumpet Snails. They eat debris, they stay small, they look good, and they don't eat plants. They also bear live young, hide in the substrate during the day, and will make a mass exodus to the top of your tank if something goes horribly wrong with your water quality.

Edit::: are snails going to die if they are shipped by priority mail?

I drive over 50 miles to the closest LFS....i wish i had one within 20miles....must be nice....snails are pretty tough...i had an apple snail that lived out of water for about a week and was still alive when i put him back in the tank....most snails are pretty durable.

I have an out break of river snails in my 30 that piggy backed in when I had the bonehead idea to try some local plants in the tank. I can pick a few dozen juvies out and send them to you :joke:

As usual I have Brigs for sale 20 or more snails for $18 shipped with a heatpack in an insulated box...( likely much better than what you will find at petsmart but I'm not sure how many you want). THey do get big (larger than a golf ball as adults and it is recomended 2.5 gallons per snail at adult size.

Gold, Jade and Ivory.

I will have some Pink/Magentas for sale when they get a little larger. I'm clearing out most of my gold / ivory / Jades this weekend so let me know if you want some before I trade them off. I only ship mondays w/ priority mail.
