I AM IN SEARCH OF SOME MORE PLECOS TO ADD TO MY TANK (ACTUALLY MAYBE JUST 1 OR 2)
I CURRENTLY HAVE 2 "COMMON" PLECOS I WAS LOOKING TO GET SOMETHING DIFFERENT, WOULD LOVE A ZEBRA PLECO (BUT MUST BE REALLY INEXPENSIVE)
I WENT ON AQUABID AND WOW MOST OF THEIR ITEMS ARE MORE THAN I WISH TO PAY.
IF ANYONE HAS ANYTHING THEY ARE LOOKING TO GET RID OF, PLMK WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR IN RETURN.

I don't have any to offer, but would offer a suggestion. If you like the look but not the price of the Zebras (and who doesn't?), check out L129s. They sell cheaper, are apparently available at shops though none near me, and go for relatively low prices < $20. Check out www.planetcatfish.com for info. Here's a pic of one.

I picked up an L134 for about $30 locally.

that is perfect, thanks! I have checked a few stores & haven't seen any, goning down to Nj on Sat. so I will check some there! What a beautiful Pleco!

I wouldn't encourage buying L46. There are plenty other choices.:) Aside from the price which is very high even for fry, the supplies are rather limited or at least it seems like it especially as the demand is very high.

If in the future, you wish to try breeding L46, look for Barbie and TwoTankAmin. Both breed them.
